The Client:

Electric Ink is a South African magazine publishing company that specializes in glossy publications distributed directly to the participants in prestigious sporting and cultural events.

The Need:

With charismatic director Paul Ingpen as the figurehead Editor of this, one of only two official Ironman magazines worldwide, a Managing Editor was needed to plan, commission and copy edit, and to work with the designers to oversee all production to print. With her extensive magazine publishing experience as well as a personal passion for triathlon to draw on, Dominique le Roux played this role on the biannual publication while training for and completing an Ironman event herself.
